Qatar Income Tax Compliance (Important Information)

Filing of Income Tax Return for year ended 31st December, 2021:

30th April, 2022. All Qatari Businesses has to file their yearly tax return within 4 months from the end of the respective financial years. 

while filing the income tax return, the businesses have to submit their financial statements for the year being audited by any auditors in qatar or the auditing firms in qatar.

As per the Qatar Income Tax Law, 2018, the auditors appointed as tax representative cannot be an auditor for the financial statements.

 

Filing of Income Tax Return for year ended 31st December, 2021. Exemption from Audit of Financial Statements:

The following companies are exempted from Auditing of their Financial Statements by any auditor in qatar or auditing firms in qatar if they meet any of the following conditions:

 

 

Please note that the above exemption is from audit of financial statements only. Therefore, irrespective of the business volume or capital of the business, all businesses have to sumit their income tax return annually in qatar.
